“Who run the world...Girls!”- Beyoncé
In November & December of 2013, Zoe was chosen for the Open House Emerging Artist Residency with Canberra Youth Theatre (CYT) & Gorman House to write All The Single Lad(ie)s. The support, generosity and honesty of CYT’s Artistic Director, Karla Conway were the ingredients to fuel an incredible start to this play.
One man is tied to a chair, another dances to Beyoncé. A criminally sexy attempt to find the perfect dress leaves V with much more than he bargained for.
The Cutting Room Floor as part of Fringeworld Festival proudly presents All the Single Lad(ie)s. Enter a world of retail therapy, unlikely encounters and a drag-tastic guide to life. From the team that bought you Poly and the new initiative in guerrilla theatre Home Open, comes this bold and audacious piece that invites you to discuss, challenge and rethink your perceptions on gender.
Please note for mature audiences only.
